Deception Pass Wedding | Jocelyn + Walter | Oak Harbor, WA

Jocelyn and Walter are married!! Woo hoo! These two amazing people had their wedding at Cornet Bay Retreat Center at Deception Pass State Park in Oak Harbor, WA. And it was SO much fun!

Wedding Portraits by the Deception Pass Bridge

We started the day with a fun first look under the famous Deception Pass bridge, then adventured to the nearby rocks capturing their gorgeous portraits. We then headed back to Cornet Bay for more photos, their hilarious and fun ceremony, and their rad reception. Their wedding day was simple and gorgeous!

The Wedding Ceremony at Deception Pass (Cornet Bay Retreat Center)

The ceremony was a delight and was extra special because it was officiated by Walter’s sister. The bride and groom wrote their own personal vows that made you laugh and cry all at the same time. Surrounded by their best friends and family, it just felt right.

Jocelyn walked out of the Cornet Bay Recreation Hall, and down the aisle towards the her friends and family who were eagerly waiting as she approached. The audience not only had a beautiful view of Walter and Jocelyn as they exchanged vows, but they also had an amazing view of the bay behind them as the sun set. It was a gorgeous Pacific Northwest day, and Deception Pass is the perfect location for a wedding that embodies the PNW and all it’s glory. This couple loves the PNW, so it was just perfect for them.

Dinner & Dancing

The evening ended with dinner, speeches, laughter and dancing in the dining hall. Everything about Jocelyn and Walter’s wedding was their own and beautiful.
