If you want some beautiful Arlington Lavender Farm photos and a fun outing all in one, Purple Robe Lavender Farm is the place to go! Whether you need updated family photos, senior pictures or a maternity session, a lavender field makes a gorgeous backdrop.
Arlington, WA is just approximately an hour drive north of Seattle. This makes this lavender farm a perfect location for an afternoon visit or a fun evening activity. As a Seattle family photographer, I love driving to Arlington for fun photo sessions like these!
Purple Robe Lavender Farm is a gorgeous location with lots of amenities.
From delicious lavender lemonade to lavender ice cream, Purple Robe Lavender Farm has it all. They also have a fun boutique shop with various lavender items, including culinary lavender, soaps, lotions, sanitizers, candles, oils, and dried lavender-of course!
Parking is close and convenient to the field, and there is an area with tables to sit at in the shade, if it gets too hot. The bathrooms are nice and easily accessible. (And smell like lavender, too!)
Tips on what to wear when visiting the lavender field.
When visiting a lavender farm, I recommend wearing whites or creams. Theses colors really look beautiful in a lavender field. Neutrals and solid colors also photograph nicely in the lavender.
A couple of things to keep in mind when planning your visit to the lavender farm in Arlington.
Lavender season is in July and August in the Pacific Northwest. The best time to take photos here is in the early evening, around 7-7:30pm. (However, you can still get beautiful photos at other times of the day as well, it’s just not as ideal.) Purple Robe Lavender Farm stays open until 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays for this purpose!
A fun thing about this lavender field is that you can do U-pick to select your own bouquet of lavender. They even provide the clippers and cute baskets too! Or if you prefer, pre-picked lavender bouquets are available for purchase.
